Micah has been Campus Pastor of Cross Point Hays since January of 2010. Prior to that, he was part time starting February of 2009 while finishing his commitment with Christian Challenge Campus Ministry. He is responsible for the Hays Campus, oversees the staff, and provides leadership and direction for this local campus. He enjoys teaching on a weekly basis for Wednesday night CrossTraining. Micah has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Fort Hays State University. Micah is married to Noél and they have one daughter Samantha, and one boy Coulter.

Micah loves being in the ministry of the local church and serving others. He enjoys being creative with graphics - along with interest in technology and computers. He has a large collection of Hot Wheels that started when he was a kid, and continues to grow today! He still enjoys playing the drums every week with the worship team at CrossPoint Hays. His life verse is Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your work to the Lord, and it will succeed.”

His all time favorite quote is: “Don’t go and do what the world needs, go and do what makes you come alive, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

At nine years old while attending a revival in Ulysses, Kansas, Christ’s sacrifice became real to me. Christ became my personal Savior and my journey as a believer began. My parents and church family in Ulysses invested their lives in me as I first began building my foundation in God. My faith was further strengthened during my formative years through several summer camps, serving as a summer youth leader, and through mission." While working on his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Fort Hays State University, Jeff was active with BASIC (a Christian campus organization) through a local church (now known as Cornerstone in Hays). His first professional job was as a mathematics teacher in Fairplay, Colorado – 10,000 ft. elevation—where he met my wife and fellow believer, Lori. God then called them to Fort Collins, CO where he completed a Master’s Degree in Mathematics. In the early 1990’s Jeff took a position teaching mathematics at NMMI, a military junior college. It was during this time that God blessed Lori and Jeff with a beautiful daughter, Leisha, and a rambunctious son, Benjamin. At the turn of the century, God opened a door for a move back to Hays, Kansas to his current job of teaching mathematics at FHSU. When they moved to Hays, they naturally gravitated to this local body of Christ for multiple reasons. "I had previous interaction with members at the church and I knew of the heart this body had for God’s work, especially in regard to FHSU students. My sister was the treasurer during the first building, which is somewhat ironic, as I now have been the church treasurer for six years." Jeff's current staff position at Cross Point Hays is as the Administrator, which primarily encompasses the duties of being treasurer.

Jeremy graduated from Corner Stone Christian School (Home School). He is married to Amy Sterling and they have two daughters: Taylor & Abigail

Jeremy's family were among the founders of Agape Southern Baptist Church (now CrossPoint) So, Jeremy has literally been a member of the church since birth. I am the Worship Pastor at CrossPoint Hays where he's been leading worship for almost 15 years. Leading up to Sunday, Jeremy plans the order of how things will flow in the service, including song selection, announcements, offering, drama, etc.

Lane Weaver serves as the Grow Pastor at Cross Point Hays. Lane and his wife Elizabeth and their family joined the Cross Point Hays family in 2008 shortly after Lane became the Director of Athletic Bands and Low Brass Instructor at Fort Hays State University. Prior to living in Kansas, Lane and Elizabeth led small groups and taught Sunday School classes in Lexington, Kentucky, and South Bend, Indiana. While in South Bend, Lane also served as a music pastor. Lane completed doctoral coursework in wind (band) conducting at the University of Kentucky (currently ABD status) and holds a masters degree in trombone performance from the University of Notre Dame. Both originally from Idaho, Lane and Elizabeth both graduated from Utah State University – Lane with a bachelors degree in music education and Elizabeth in early childhood education. The Weavers have three adorable children (Lane blames Elizabeth for the adorable part), Luke, Grace, and Daniel.

Noel has been a part of CrossPoint Hays for more than 12 years. She accepted Christ at the age of 8 and re-committed my life and was baptized in this faith community in 2000. She is now the Preschool Director. Micah and Noel have been married for 7 years and have one daughter Samantha. Noel has always been involved with helping the church in the nursery, VBS and other various children's ministries. Noel also worked full time with special needs children after receiving my Bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University in General Studies with an emphasis in Education. "My passion has always been for children," said Noel. "This position has stretched me and grown me, but when I see the little ones on a Sunday morning or Wednesday night it is all worth it!"

Doug currently serves as the Children’s Director at the Hays campus site.  Doug loves working with children and is passionate about showing them love as a means of moving them toward acceptance of God’s love.

Doug was saved at age 13 and began working in the church during his junior year in high school as a Sunday School Superintendent. God led Doug and his family to Hays in 1996 and they joined Agape SBC (now CrossPoint) on its last Sunday in the old storefront.  Over the years, he and his wife Becky have been actively involved in the ministry in Hays and served in a number of leadership capacities.  They have two adult daughters that have been on multiple international mission trips and are serving in their local church.  Megan is a speech and language pathologist in Newton (KS) and Ashley is a second grade teacher in Putnam City (OK).

Doug graduated with two early childhood degrees from the University of Kansas. His work experience has included nearly 30 years as a teacher and administrator in early childhood special education programs.  He has served on numerous local/state/national boards and initiatives involving young children with disabilities. He has been the director of the Hays Area Children’s Center since 1996.

Daniel has been the student pastor at CrossPoint Hays since November 2010. He is responsible for planning and execution of youth meetings, conferences, and fellowships with the hopes of fulfilling the vision of seeing students become more steadfast and passionate followers of Jesus Christ. Daniel graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelors degree in Social Work. Daniel married Haley in October of 2009.

Daniel likes many things, some of which are hunting/fishing, catching up on world events and news, playing and watching sports, and watching movies.

I have been at CrossPoint since the very beginning. I am responsible for Mission Outreach and education. I have a passion and desire to see people come to know Christ through Missions. I have been on numerous local and state Mission trips and to Tokyo, Japan three times. I have seen first hand the Word of God working in the lives of people and want others to experience His mighty works.

I am a widow with two grown children and 4 grandchildren. I am a foster parent for Juvenile Delinquents. I love football especially the Chiefs and the KU Jayhawks. My favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 & 12. "For I know the plans, I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." God has remained faithful to me in the good and hard times. He is my Hope.
