Eric is the Campus Pastor at Cross Point Salina. He is married to Kristen and they have two children, Sadie and Cole. Eric is the “get it done” guy for Salina and is responsible for most everything a senior pastor would do except preaching. Eric is not formally schooled in ministry but has two years of college and 5 years of trade school. His desire is to be a lifetime learner and seek to follow God into any situation.
Eric is interested in reading, playing and watching sports (Red Sox, Chiefs, and Shockers), building things, starting new hobbies that he may or may not continue, and drinking coffee. He also would like to learn to fly, parachute, and climb a mountain (not all on the same day).
One of his favorite scriptures is James 1:2-4. This verse resonates with his desire to see people find joy in a new life with Christ in the midst of the shame and tragedy of this world.
Quote I’ve been pondering: “If the Bible isn’t your standard, you’re an ocean of ideas and everyone is drowning.” -Andy Addis

Favorite Quote to Date: “Your worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of His grace. And your best days are never so good that you are beyond the need of God’s grace. Every day should be a day of relating to God on the basis of His grace alone.” –Jerry Bridges
Jason has been the worship pastor at Cross Point Salina since March, 2010. He is mainly responsible for preparing the music and service order for each weekend. Educationally, Jason is currently working toward a BA in Biblical Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jason married Lauren in June, 2009 with no children (yet).
Jason enjoys both writing and recording music (listen HERE), spending time with family, reading, and a good cup of coffee. One of his favorite verses is Psalm 73:25-26 “25Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. 26My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Jason thinks that everyone would do well to remember these words from Martin Luther: "The Law is for the proud and the Gospel for the brokenhearted.”
Cheryl was a member at Cross Point Hutchinson and has been a member at Cross Point Salina since it's opening. She is the Serve Pastor and is responsible for helping people discover their spiritual gifts and finding how to use them to build up and serve the church body.
She is married to Bill and has three adult children and four grandkids. Her favorite past times would be hanging out with the grandkids, watching KU basketball, mentoring youth and dreaming of the next time to sky dive and snow ski!
Philippians 4: 6-9 has been her favorite verse for many years. Pray, be thankful, keep your focus and obey!
